Genesis 41:14-37 - From the Dungeon to Duty

God does not deliver His servants simply to remove hardship, but to place them into His purposes. Deliverance is not the destination, responsibility is. In Genesis 41, we see that when God brings Joseph out of the dungeon, He does so with intention, preparation, and purpose. God is not merely changing Joseph’s location, He is changing his assignment.
