Genesis 43:1-15 - When Pressure Produces Surrender

Have you ever known exactly what needed to be done, but still resisted because it would cost you something? Not because you lacked clarity, but because obedience required trust. So instead of moving forward, you delay and hope things change, but they do not. Over time, what you avoid begins to press in on you. That is where we find Jacob in Genesis 43, and often where we find ourselves. God uses pressure, not to destroy us, but to move us and reveal what we are unwilling to surrender.
